Reminders people actually read
Why we put WhatsApp alongside SMS and email — and why we show you the ones that failed.

A reminder that is never read is not a reminder. It is a line in a log that makes you feel like you did something about no-shows.
Where the message lands matters
Most scheduling tools stop at email and SMS. For a lot of the businesses we work with — clinics, institutes, service teams across India — the message that actually gets opened is on WhatsApp. So WhatsApp is a workflow action in udaybooking, the same as email, SMS and webhooks, with the same triggers: on booking, before the event, after the event.
A failed reminder should be loud
Every send is tracked on its own, through pending, sending, sent, failed, cancelled and skipped. A reminder that didn’t go out shows up as failed. The alternative — a silent miss — is worse than no reminder at all, because you stop checking.
Then measure it
No-show is one of the statuses every booking carries. Turn reminders on, mark the misses honestly, and after a month you will know whether they are working instead of assuming.
